In the present text, the idea that philosophy and philosophizing are intrinsically linked will be defended. We will start from a paradigmatic case, the case of analytical philosophy. From its definition, it will be tried to show that the most outstanding characteristics of this current are fundamentally linked to the act of philosophizing. By means of this example, it is intended to show that teaching philosophy consists of teaching philosophy, and that therefore one cannot be separated from the other. Learning to philosophize is then, learning to see a problem behind each page of a philosophical text, an argument behind each problem and finally, a truth behind each argument. The price to pay for this separation is quite high, one could speak of times of intellectual decline.
